I value the opportunity to have a trusting and meaningful relationship with each of my patients and their families, because I believe this is key to understanding the unique needs of each individual. One of my top priorities is helping your child feel safe and brave while in our office.
I am passionate about educating and empowering parents so they can continue using best practices in oral health once children leave our office. When parents understand the importance of at-home hygiene and diet, we can work together to prevent cavities. I sincerely believe this dual approach is the most effective way to accomplish my goal of providing the best dental care for your children.
Education and Continuing Education
Undergraduate Degree: Utah Valley University
Doctorate of Dental Surgery: Creighton University School of Dentistry
Pediatric Dental Residency: Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin
Certifications: Advanced Pediatric Life Support, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
During my residency I had the unique opportunity to work with many patients with special health care needs, including those with cleft lip and palate. I also had the opportunity to work closely with Marquette University School of Dentistry by giving lectures in the classroom and working as a clinical instructor in the clinical pediatric department.
In order to provide the best, safest and up-to-date care to my patients, I believe it is important to attend continuing education courses throughout the year. I also stay current on techniques and literature by subscribing to pediatric journals and magazines.

Outside the Office
Prior to moving to back Utah in 2017, I treated children in the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I have an insatiable love for the outdoors and can be found mountain or road biking, hiking, at the lake or simply enjoying the sunshine in my spare time. I am an avid fitness and nutrition buff, lover of all animals and enjoy traveling and humanitarian work. I have been actively involved with the incredible G-3 Foundation, which is a non-profit group, for over a decade. We travel to the Dominican Republic on an annual mission trip to serve the people by providing free dental care to the poor and needy. Helping the children of the Dominican Republic is the highlight of my year.
